STATEMENT

 

HEART AND EARTH

"Have you ever noticed that the. words ‘heart’ and 'earth' conceal 'art' within them? Whenever I make artworks I contemplate 'heart' and earth'. 
I believe the ecocide of our earth will result in mental pain and injury. The relationship between the two is quite fractal. The materials which I choose for my artworks are abandoned and decayed, or tools which used to be indispensable to people. My artwork begins at the very moment I found  these materials. Different  materials are combined, revived and reconstructed, to communicate invisible powers of place and area. I don't try to make the invisible become visible, but try to reveal the relationship between these two forces."
